What is the Image Color Picker?

How is this different from other color pickers?
Most online color pickers require you to upload your image to a server. PrivatePhotoSuite picks colors entirely in your browser using the Canvas API — your photo is never sent anywhere. This is especially important for sensitive or private images.

How does palette extraction work?
